Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence
The leads multi-disciplinary research projects in cybersecurity and coordinates cyber educational programs and initiatives at ÖгöÂÖ¼éÅ®½Ì. It hosts ÖгöÂÖ¼éÅ®½Ì’s NSA-designated National Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity Research (NCAE-C) National Center. Artificial Intelligence is the main focus of research efforts in the ÖгöÂÖ¼éÅ®½Ì computer science department with an emphasis on applications in cybersecurity, autonomous unmanned vehicles, bioinformatics, health care, and environmental and coastal science.   
Computer Science also hosts ÖгöÂÖ¼éÅ®½Ì’s Research Data Center, which serves as a hub for computational research projects in cybersecurity, AI, STEM and educational outreach to government, industry, educational, community and K-12 partners.
